Skipton International Boxing Day Dip raises more than £10,500

The Guernsey Cheshire Home is proud to announce the final sum of all donations raised at the annual Skipton International Boxing Day Dip is £10,560.45. Skipton Boxing Day Dip 2023

We are delighted to have Skipton International, once again, partnering with us to sponsor the highly popular annual Boxing Day Dip. Over 3,000 swimmers turned out on Cobo Bay last year, many in fancy dress. The organisers gave out thousands of mince pies, kindly donated by CiMandis, with mulled wine and hot drinks on offer.

The Havelet Regatta

The Havelet Regatta, an exciting new event, will join St Peter Port’s calendar on Sunday 3rd September from 10am to 6pm. Supported by Voyonic and raising funds for the Guernsey Cheshire Home, the event will bring a variety of activities and attractions to the south of St Peter Port, on the land, sand and sea at Havelet Bay.

White-Collar Boxing supports Guernsey Cheshire Home

We are proud to announce that Rob Shepherd, Chairman of the Guernsey Cheshire Home is set to make his boxing debut on 6th April, raising funds for the Home at the Las Vegas White Collar Boxing event at Beau Sejour, with a raffle and collection also taking place on the night to raise funds for the Home.

200km Static Bike Challenge

Using static exercise bikes, the residents of the Guernsey Cheshire Home will be working together to complete a physical challenge, cycling a total distance of 200km to raise £25,000 to fund an accessible outdoor adventure holiday with the Calvert Trust in Exmoor, where they can take part in activities like rock climbing, zip-lining, horse riding and camping.
