Technimatic Headlining for Upcoming Event

The Guernsey Cheshire Home in association with Breakz n Beatz Presents are pleased to announce the award-winning Technimatic as the headline act for its upcoming fundraising event.

Since joining forces in 2007, Andy Powell and Peter Rodgers aka Technimatic have a discography which spans the cream of the drum & bass scene, with releases on the likes of Technique, Viper, Critical, Hospital and Spearhead; in 2012 they signed exclusively to DJ Friction and K-Tee’s Shogun Audio label. Since then they have become one of the go-to acts for rich, emotive, musical dnb, epitomised perfectly by their bestselling debut album ‘Desire Paths’. This widely acclaimed long player was one of Mixmag’s Top 10 dance albums of 2014 and won ‘Best Album’ at the National Drum & Bass Awards.

Both talented DJs in their own right, Pete and Andy have played throughout the world, from the USA to Australia. Their energetic sets feature music from right across the dnb spectrum, and reflect a deep passion and knowledge of the scene.

The evening will be hosted by MC Connec, an amazing artist who brings some serious fire to any event.

DnB singer Collette J Warren, is sure to add some sass to the proceedings. The singer/songwriter was born and raised in Birmingham, and sites her influences as Motown and jazz to reggae, soul, funk, 90’s R&B and disco. Now a Bristol resident, Collette has been keeping busy collaborating with various big names in the scene as well as finishing off her debut EP which is due for release later this year. Having done tracks with the likes of; Skeptical, FD, DJ Marky, Klute, Calibre, L-Side, Random Movement, Philth, Riya and Bachelors of Science to name a few, Collette is now firmly establishing herself as a talented artist within the DnB world. She will be joining Ben Soundscape for a special performance in Guernsey, fresh from her set at Sun and Bass!

We are delighted to be joined by the brains behind Intrigue – Bristol’s longest running DnB club night and founder of Intrigue Music; Ben Soundscape. Ben has produced tracks for Creative Source, Renegade Recordings, Metalheadz, Nu Directions and Integral to name a few. Recent DJ support for Ben’s production has come from Friction, DJ Marky, LTJ Bukem, Fabio, Randall, Riya and Storm. As well as this, he has been busy smashing dance floors all over the world, whether that is on tour in America or at the infamous DnB festival Sun and Bass in Sardinia – now it’s time for Guernsey!

Our UK artists will be supported by Greeno, Feeble and Test Switch!
