‘Make a Change’ this Winter!
As we increasingly move to contactless payments more of us have spare change sat at home in drawers and pockets. A recent survey revealed the British public are sitting on loose change worth an estimated £50 million according to figures from UK Finance. That’s where our inspiration came in for our latest fundraiser!
The Guernsey Cheshire Home has one aim: to provide care and opportunity for people with serious physical disabilities in as close to a family atmosphere as possible. With no direct States Funding we are reliant on our fund raising & donations. It costs over £1,100,000 annually to run the Home.
👉 Every little helps, so this is where YOU can help us… 👈
Simply collect a jar from the Cheshire Home (or use your own) and fill it with spare change and together we will make a big difference. You can also print your own labels here. We would love to see pictures of you with your jam jars! Please share them on social media using the hashtag #ChangeForCheshire
We are asking for jars to be returned to the Home so we can count the pennies and reveal the total raised by the community.
Thanks in advance, Guernsey community – we know we can rely on you to help us help those who rely on us!
