Kristina’s Dream Holiday Draw July 2018

Kristina was the winner of our Dream Holiday Draw back in July.

Kristina explains how they decided upon their Dream Holiday Draw, ably assisted by Wayfarers World Travel – Guernsey.

We got married at the beginning of April so considered using the holiday for our honeymoon, but we didn’t want to leave the children behind.
There are 5 of us, 2 adults, a teenager, an 8 year old and an under 2 year old so it was going to be difficult to find somewhere to suit everyone and wouldn’t require long flights. We wanted to make the most of the money we decided to treat the family to a holiday in Europe, straight after our wedding. We picked all-inclusive at a brand new 5 star hotel, Fantasia Bahia Principe Tenerife. The hotel had something to suit everyone…6 pools, on site restaurants, water slides, kids & teens club, shows/entertainment & a spa (as well as guaranteed sun!).
On the way there we stopped off in Manchester for the day and went to the LEGO discovery centre in Trafford. We booked tickets for Loro Parque and Siam park in Tenerife and on the way home we went to a football match in Manchester.
The restaurants in the hotel were brilliant and the food was amazing and the children were well looked after, fed & watered, from the second we walked into the hotel.

One of the highlights was having a massage and spa, followed by a swim in the adult only infinity pool with a cocktail.
We had a fantastic time away on holiday and would like to say a big thank you to the Cheshire Home and everyone who takes part in the monthly draw as we otherwise would not have had the chance to go on a family holiday and make the amazing memories that we have this year. It was lovely to be able to celebrate our honeymoon with the children, as a family.
