Happy Birthday, Gunter!

Gunter, our youngest resident, celebrated his 50th birthday earlier this year. Gunter has been at the Home for 27 years and is a much-loved member of the family. To help celebrate he invited his friends and family to join him for a party at the Home. It was lovely to see ex staff members, including Marlene, the first Home Manager, who he had not seen for some years.

Gunter didn’t want just a normal cake or just one either! His favourite is chocolate cheesecake so he had one for himself, leaving his guests to enjoy a delicious raspberry and cream sponge.
