60 Miles and counting…

Day two of FCG Epic Week: Paul de Jersey and Day Visitor S-J Duquemin are pictured taking part in our Epic challenge.

Yesterday we managed to clock up nearly 60 miles.

Our residents and day visitors will be hand or foot-cycling on our MotoMed machine throughout the Epic week in a bid to ride 290 miles which is the distance between Guernsey and the first Leonard Cheshire Home which was opened in 1949 at Le Court in Hampshire. The Home will also set up a static bike so that all staff, volunteers, Board members and special guests can take their turn throughout the week.
The challenge is one of many this week raising money for the Home and This Is EPIC.
