Sir Ian Corder Visits the Home
Guernsey Cheshire Home had a special visit from Lt-Governor Vice Admiral Sir Ian Corder and Lady Corder, they helped the residents make wreaths and festive decorations. The decorations will be on sale Thursday from the Town Church, and all funds go towards day trips and helping the residents get out and about.
Administrator Karen Le Page said the home likes to ‘focus on what the residents and day visitors can do rather than what they cannot.’
Last year, the Christmas fayre raised £2,000 for the Cheshire Home, we hope to raise even more this year.
Islanders are welcome to attend the Christmas fayre at the Town Church on Thursday 13th December from noon until 8pm to support the Guernsey Cheshire Home.
